Sticker or Printed Packaging for #TeMClosetPicks

So this morning my day has been rather manic with the small but powerful details of packaging for the #TeMClosetPicks campaign running from July 2015 on the MomentsInFashion Instagram account in collaboration with StreetMagMedia's www.jhbstreetmag.co.za via my Tanki Em Facebook page.... Sigh* what a mouth full 😊

In the article before this I explained a bit about the campaign, please take a moment and read what I had to say... Which is pretty much the introduction to the campaign. This week I'm focusing on so much and the packaging is becoming really cool to think about, after all I would want some of my fave' Rage Shoes SA, Woolworths, Mr Price, Nike and many more outfits to be packaged in a pretty little gem. As with trying to make this small but somewhat special I've been looking for packaging ideas that can make it all worthwhile. My team and I have been a bit confused but I think we have reached something. 

The printing is being done by a nice little shop and I'm looking forward to the competition entrants getting a little touch of "thank you for entering and interacting with us" sort of treat when they get their gifts.

Fashion giveaways with #TeMClosetPicks on Instagram

Ladies,  I'm a bit Syked (Happy) to share this with you but in July 2015, a few days from now, Street Mag Media in collaboration with the Moments In Fashion concept curated by me will be launching a Fashion campaign for readers, people that engage with my Tanki Em Facebook page and Supporters of the @MomentsInFashion project on Instagram. 

Have you ever bought stuff, you love them but just don't have the perfect time to wear them or you just can't wear them? That's sort-of always me, but have you also bought stuff that you love and have only had the chance to wear those items once? Or sometimes twice? That's also me... I've never taken part in a fashion exchange, but I loved the concept of "My Sisters closet" or the idea of sharing clothes with your closest buddies. Totally love that. So now we have #TeMClosetpicks because of all of what I just mentioned on the paragraph. Clothes you love but can't always wear them. I have loads of reasons why I'm sharing some of my closet items, but that's a proper article on its own via www.jhbstreetmag.co.za

The campaign is called "#TeMClosetPicks" which will run via the #TankiEm Facebook page and the #MomentsInFashion Instagram account with Street Mag Media as the overall concept media partner, the campaign will run as a #FashionFriday update and share, within this campaign readers of Street Mag Media (JHB) will get to win some of my loved fashion items, these are items that I have owned some worn some have not event ever been worn but only used to do a shoot. I love each and every item I buy, and sometimes sharing what you love the most with people that keep an eye out for you and support some of the things you do has that warm fuzzy feeling vibe to it I would like to feel. 

 The concept is fashion and lifestyle based which are all elements that resonate with the ideas behind the lifestyle trends that interest me. 

Every Friday on the MomentsInFashion Instagram account I'll be giving away some of my fav' new outfits. The ultimate giveaway is awesome and that will be on the last Fashion Friday of MIF.

So about 7 days ago I updated my Facebook profile by converting it to a page.


Ok to be honest Management did it because it would "make it easy" for me to get social again via Facebook, see the problem was that I no longer loves Facebook and didn't use it the way I used to use it, like it became just another account that gets on my nerves, and being a temperamental person already I just stayed away. There were a number if things I hated! Like the chat option, the layout and and well most of everything .

So I am happy to have shifted to a page and I'm happy that I'm slowly falling in love with Facebook all over again

My week thus far as a Facebook pager- I think this is awesome I can only grow from this point on... Yes? Yes!!!

STYLE LUST | Elbeth Gillis's Daniella Dress

Styled Moments In Fashion

So I had one of those weekends spent with my ex-girlfriend, and we decided to hit the market! I dressed up punkish and I loved it.

Her and I are like soul mates, after some time of wondering why it didn't work, i realized that she kinda pulls out the best and worst of me, to much of everything can be toxic for the heart, body and mind.

We hang out but I can say without a doubt that our paths only will cross on a plutonic level of understanding, she understands me and I understand her, she is my first love and the passion was there, I just now know that just because on completes you that does not make them right for you all the time with the idea of moving on, I'm still two-headed about it as I sometimes look at her and the of the many good times we have had along with the heated moments of anger we have shared...

She is fucked up in the head and so am I sometimes, but I am now learning that it is best we stay friends before we end up killing each other, I'm also not in the mood for the drama that kept occurring while we were still together... Now whenever shit creeps up, I just shrug it off because it is not my place to say or even ask questions ... This is what I am learning to understand and deal with. Sharing some moments with her that have nothing to so with our past relationship are really becoming fun days out with a close friend.

STYLE CRUSH- Rihanna

So she does not really have style nor does her stylist, ( if she has one) do justice to her body, badgirl Riri is really just a street style dresser, she is sassy thuglife trends rolled up into one hot-ass body and I love it.

Rihanna is more of a hair trend setter then a fashion and style crush. Every hair-do she rocks ends up lacing South Africa like a plague, which reminds me... South Africans are still wearing red hair and gold locks!! When will this stop? I wonder😝

None the less she does manage to work the red carpet with some racy dresses and some questionably simple looks. The only look I can say I actually fully LOVE is the blue long sleeve dress. The rest are just "oh wow how cool are you in this dress Riri" moments.

My Vintage Blazer Came out to Play...

Saturday was my first free (styling job) day off in a while... So for this day I decided, or was convinced at glitter gun point to come out and work (Moments In Fashion). I had fun here and there so to round it all of I think it was an OK day... There are some things I need to get over though, like my weakness to deal or manage too many people, I'm sure I've blogged about me not wanting to be around too many people at the same time, but most times my commitments are with my work so I always have to deal with that small fear and get over it.

So yes back to the L'Omarins Queens Plate which took place yesterday, I decided to wear this Vintage blazer which was a gift choice from Aunty Joyce, @Lolli_Native's mom last October. I had bee struggling to find the perfect day to wear this glammy gem of a blazer since then, So when I remembered the theme I was like "ooooh Guuuuurl, I got JUST the perfect blue to killit" to be honest everything else in with this outfit was secondary, coz the KEY item was the blazer.
