Get over the past and MOVE on

I was demoted from Ed to Client Care, and since 2010 was such a pain in the lower back regions... I wont let that shadow the power of will.

We will make things happen.
We will have 2011 to smile about
We will take STREETMAG to the next level

So now I head out to work on Project 2011.... I plan to make sure that all we have planned for.... this coming year is a BLAST...

That was when my magazine life started, and the very 1st interview we had was with Loyiso the host of a UCTRadio show...

well i didnt think we would end up hosting our own Radio shows but now you can tune in to StreetCred on Radio on Thursday Night at www.muthafm.com between 18h00 and 20h00 South African time and Friday night between 19h00 and 21h00 on UCT Radio 104.5 FM soon to be live online.

I love my life as grumpy and pissy as i am I LOVE EACH SOUR MOMENT as it comes with the SWEET moments.

It will be a long ass week,

0. Streetcred on Uct radio needs to be finalised
1. Media Contact List needs to be updated.
2. Matters need to be sorted, (DJs)
3. Posters need to be done to the T
4. Event Proposals need to be final
5. Emails need to be taken care of
6. Fashion designers need to be emailed
7. Model agencies need to be sorted
8. Mr and Mrs UWC needs to be done
9. Media Pack press pack needs to be done by Wednesday
10.Finalise partners lists

That is my to do list for the week and i get the feeling it is longer then that but ales i will act as though that is about it.

the aim is to make sure that all will be done. and when its all done i will work on the next weeks demands.

THE OLD SOUTH AFRICAN FLAG,,,

so a day ago I posted the old South African flag, the orange, white and blue flag with the British and Netherlands. and Boy did that get me into trouble. ;) pity coz this is what cam from it all. njoy the read....

people have a tendency not to want to hear or see into the truth about certain matters, we all adopt to arguments that have no solid foundation me posting the Flag in certain context might define who I am depending on whether you know me or not. My point about the flag is not to create a problem but to see how many people take offense in a simple object with a symbolised connotations of oppression to it.

At this point I will offend a few people, but will continue to say this, if you called me names, threatened me in anyway via facebook inbox and commented on the picture without asking what it is that I am trying to achieve then you're a SLOW Hot Head, with me questioning your level of reasoning and intelligence, your one track mind to throw a tiff should someone remind you of a painful situation is one that needs full medical attention as you find it difficult to deal with your past.

With that said I am not out to make enemies I am merely a person that looks into how people react, and sad this is a selection of you played into it. This make for very good research, I even think my thesis will be about “People and the past, how hard is it that's one can deal with the past and move on?”


I can not and WILL NOT change who I am. As for provocative questioning, I learn more about how different individuals think, and from that how they react to simple pictures, words and statements then I ever would from giving out SAFE questions. I seldom take offense to anything, but I mark who says what, and how they say it, so as to determine my own opinions on them.

I can't stand it when someone does not take time to try and learn how to pronounce a name or a word from another language. The blunder is indeed a stupid one as the person making that mistake sounds stupid. Im sitting at a local radio station and can not believe that the talk show host has made countless mistakes on names that have been in the media for 2 weeks. Its "dubula i bulu" darn it, get it ryt, then she got koeburg wrong I am not happy about this but I will say she has a good radio voice.

*Loosing Jaded Crude and Rude*

"The Grim Reaper", replaced "Jaded crude and Rude"

Well a few weeks ago the magazine lost its satire blogger, I will not go into detail but the basic line was, “Hey Tanki I will not be blogging for a while”. I would say I don’t know what the fuck that meant but based on the submissions I had been receiving lately I would pin-point that he will not be blogging at all and was just politely wording it.

Sad moment that was coz I really liked his blogs, besides me our readers seemed to like him a lot.

None-the less Busy Bee T knows how to bounce back as “Jaded: Crude and Rude” was replaced with “The Grim Reaper”

I still think Jade Has a great talent in writing; he just needs truck loads of inspiration.

BEEN A WHILE, ye

Ok so yes I agree it has been a while since my last update.. I have a perfectly sorted excuse, I HAVE BEEN BUSY. Too busy to update or even log on and sulk over how long it has been. Since I am back ill start with letting you know what I have been up to.

I have been doing events; covering them; taking pictures and basically booking to cover those events, the club scene in Cape Town can be a mission, wow. www.cptstreetmag is the best place to keep track of me. Or you can fine me on Facebook

AVATAR....

Avatar -A movie of note in my opinion.

The most non-illusive part of this movie is the plot itself as futuristic as it is apparent in human nature and subconscious truth, with the plot unfolding in front of your eyes, grasping on your chair is but a norm from start till end, The movie is about how human greed can take over human compassion, in a way Hollywood producers and writers are playfully touching base with the intuitive human psyche, if your watch the movie critically you will note that the greed element in human nature is indeed the enemy to mankind. As in the pursuit to obtain what is in that state of mind seen as riches beyond wonder, we therefore loose the humanity or in other words we suppress that part of us and further demolish the magnificence that can be celebrated and shared.

Graphics- the work on that is in its own right spectacular in its meticulousness, with attention to detail paid relevantly, much movies have been done in the combination of human and animation, the (blue screen movie) but Avatar has it made with the metamorphic touch from a sleeping human body to the awake animated blue creature. In my opinion the animators need to be given extra credits for this piece of work.
