LITERARY BAGGAGE- Louis Vuitton’s book..

Louis Vuitton’s grandson Gaston-Louis Vuitton was a trunk aficionado, as his collection of photographs and newspaper cuttings attest. It was these that 11 French writers were granted access to for inspiration. The resulting short stories — by Éliette Abécassis, Fabienne Berthaud, Marie Darrieussecq, Virginie Despentes, Nicolas d’Estienne d’Orves, Patrick Eudeline, David Foenkinos, Philippe Jaenada, Yann Moix, Véronique Ovaldé and Bruno de Stabenrath — have a narration that begins literally inside a trunk. Aptly, the pieces have been assembled in an anthology entitled “The Trunk.”

Set to come out in March, the 356-page book is being published by Les Editions Louis Vuitton and Les Editions Gallimard.

A limited-edition, leather-bound version will be available — in French, English and Japanese — in Louis Vuitton stores and through louisvuitton.com for 50 euros, or $66 at current exchange. The bookstore edition will be in French.


I don't know how I feel about this but I do know that I can't afford this book so I will just blog about it when it comes out.

STYLE LUST - Kung Pao Bistro Dolce & Gabbana clutch

My word a while ago I blogged about elaborate prints and gold on black being all the rage in my head at the time... So while I was trolling the net this afternoon (that's how lame I am on Christmas) I see pictures of Kim Kardashian’s Kung Pao Bistro Dolce & Gabbana Gold Miss Dea Embroidered Suede Clutch that I had seen on another blog I can't seem to recall at this point.

Now this clutch is what I would have hoped Santa delivered in my sock last night, but that was not the case. The now sold-out clutch costs $5,324 and is so painful to think about, let alone blog about.

This TDF sexy clutch bag has a detachable metal chain shoulder strap and a clasp closure with pearl detailing, just another lust item I would have loved to own.

Phucking up....

Letting loose this week and living a little. This is my cheers to a kak-ish last Sunday and I'm going buck!!!

I went out for 3 nights in a row... That's shyt I don't even do but I don't know. I think it's about to be a reckless festive I'm normally a bit responsible but I'm taking a holiday on that and just going to see where things take me from this point on...

So this took some time to do...

About the 16th of December, I would just like to say I'm Sorry to my guests, the sponsors, my line-up, the headhunted artists and venue, that had to go through a WTF moment.

I mean wouldn't you be mortified to discover that you are also weak when things don't happen the way you want them to?

In my case, most times I think on my feet but last Sunday was sinfully catastrophic, I panicked and broke down all at once, I pity people who were around me for those 3 hours, but I thank them for having the hootspa to actively deal with the situation.

I don't know if we can count this as an ultimate LOW POINT for me, but I think I pretty much phucked up big time. I am told to SLEEP MORE, DRINK LOTS OF WATER and CALM DOWN... (and this is why I hate doctors) they get paid to tell you things that people around you tell you all the time, if he would just give me sleeping pills for the next 8 months life would be more easy to deal with... my life actually has no room for CALMING DOWN... mxim.

Bouncing Back... Yes that is what I am doing now but it still wont change the Sunday mess and sadly I and a number of people will not forget.

Pardon the lack of formality on this one, I am normally a very formal person in most cases, just trying out this new (be calm and chilled vibe thing)

So I am in Cape Town... And I work in an industry where events are my JOB...

I have a stalker but no one believes me... Of my team does but I didn't put time on there coz i don't wanna meet the douche bag again....

Ciara loves leather and she is my STYLE CRUSH today, she is not feminine but there is a raw sex appeal to her that just stands out.... Say grrrrrrrrr baybeeeeeeee!!!

Hands, feet and my City...

Today I wore flat shoes...

I painted 4 of my fingers nails pink and one green.. I suck at being a Girly type of Girl... So this is as much as I could come up with...

I don't know what to say, I don't keep a tally on the awesome shyt that happens to me throughout the year... I have a nasty habit of remembering the crazy stuff tho. Like ...

January - not sure what went down. Didn't signs any deals and my Cptstreetmag hits went down a notch.

February - streetmag hits hiked again, that is good YE? Of but something personal happened that just killed me inside.

March - hum... This is a bit blurry so the coolest shyt I remember is that I had a argument free lunch date with my familia...

April - lost a client. Phuck me in the ass and call me Peter Pan.

May - I don't like this month...did charity and acted normal, I'll like it next year tho

June - blank

July - fashion week I think,,,, or was that in June...

August - crap month, my moms BDAY month and shyt part is she is not here for me to say HBD.

September -blank

October - does this month even happen?

November - realized that October was a puck-up... But it was Africa Fashion week.

Not to be all gloom and doom, this year a lot of cool shyt happened like I started blogging on Topbilling, I got nominated for the Cape Town Fashion council board member seat. Saw an outline of our print magazine. And if my black ass is lucky more stuff will pop of in a bit.
